Since 1996, he has been a judge of protection and working dogs as well as obedience competitions. Judging at international events has always been a great honor for him.

He possesses extensive experience at the highest level — he has judged three FCI World Championships, one FCI World Championship in Tracking, and several breed club World Championships (Rottweilers, Hovawarts, Boxers, and French Shepherds). In addition, he has frequently officiated at qualifying tournaments in various countries.
